It should be here noted that in the Order of the Grail as in Martinism, the Gnostic Church as listed below (EG, EGA, EGCA, EASU and RELATED CHURCHES) is the official Church of the Order . These GNOSTIC CHURCHES are NOT, however, affiliated with the so called "GNOSTIC CATHOLIC" Churches (EGC, EGCH, EGCA, AJC, Thomasine Church) or any church related or belonging to the O.T.O. or the Church of Thelma, accepting of Thelma or in full accord with churches that are specifically Thelemic , use Thelma and Crowley material in their liturgies or rituals, affiliate with or endorse these churches.. Hoeller Ths does not require or demand, however, that a member of the OTG be a member of the Gnostic Church or even a Christian for that matter. As in so many fraternal orders, we only demand of our members that they have a belief in a Supreme Being. We do hold that Gnosticism is the most spiritually related faith to that of the Grail Mysteries and of Rosicruciansim. Members of the OTG of the first and second degrees should also be aware that one must attend Mass and take communion within one week prior to receiving the third (Knight or Dame) degree of our work.
